A Mermaid’s Bath

This illustration was a lot of fun to make. I wanted to tell a story in a single image while also giving personality to a figure by showing them in a space that belongs to them. I wanted to show this intimate moment of someone relaxing taking a bath because it’s a peaceful moment captured in time. I used a monochromatic palette to show the simplicity of comfort in one’s own home.
